Ian started training in traditional Japanese Jiu Jitsu in 1984 under the guidance of Chad A Sidaway 8th Dan and currently the grade of 4th Dan Black Belt with original DAN Grades being ratified in Japan, Okinawa and the USA.

Ian has been studying BJJ since 2000 and is currently a 1st Degree Black belt (awarded by Chico Mendes).
In the past Ian was fortunate to be Qualified as a referee under the old BAMMA association (British Association of Mixed Martial Arts / Ultimate Combat) and refereed on many MMA events at all levels (Ultimate Combat, Extreme Brawl, UK Storm, Combat Evolution (UZI), Combat Sports Open Trials, Fight Club to name a few) and was an official ringside adjudicator at UFC 38 (Brawl at the Hall) in 2002.

Glenn started Judo at 5 years old and had a very successful junior career, making junior black belt and winning a bronze medal at the junior nationals, silver in Berkshire regional championship and Gold against Wales in home international when he was 15 years old.
He started traditional Ju Jitsu in 2000 and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in 2001.
Glenn was lucky to study at a club that adopted and included many different arts, Ju Jitsu, BJJ, Boxing, Judo, and Sambo.
After an enforced break from training he returned to BJJ in 2011, more enthusiastic than ever and competed in the UK and America. the return to training and the confidence in me from my two Professors, Ian Rossiter and Chico Mendes, inspired me to open my own club in Highbridge, Somerset.

He is also a qualified Fencing coach and have competed at Foil and Epee, something which has a surprising similarity to many martial arts.
